History of BMW Bicycles

Some BMW Bicycle & E-bike PDF Manuals above the page.

BMW has been making bicycles for nearly 60 years.

The first patent for a lightweight bicycle frame was obtained in 1950.

In 1996, a bicycle was released, aptly named TopTech. It was the first mountain bike with a fully foldable suspension.

1999 marks the start of the Q-Bike series, featuring a patented frame and folding mechanism.

In 2003, Kidsbike was created, which allowed it to transform from a walker into a "serious" bike thanks to its unique frame design.

BMW currently uses state-of-the-art extrusion techniques that are also applicable in the automotive industry (for example, hydroforming technology, which involves injecting hot water or oil emulsion under high pressure into an aluminum tube, causing the tube to expand before filling).

This technology makes BMW frames lighter, stronger and more unique in design, and manufactures them in-house, without the use of finished products from third parties.

BMW bicycles are designed in exactly the same way as our cars.

With attention to the smallest detail, with an emphasis on global style and impeccable workmanship.

This way you can be sure that even a small city trip will be an exciting adventure and a manifestation of your commitment to luxury.
