History of Intense Bicycles

Some INTENSE Bicycle PDF Manuals above the page.

Intense is a renowned global bicycle brand.

When creating their frames, the company's specialists use only the newest and most modern technologies, such as a rear suspension system, surface machining, hydroforming and others.

But the company believes that reliability and excellent quality of bicycles can only be achieved by hand assembly, which is why the best Intense frames in the world are assembled by hand.

The company's specialists say they don't just call someone to order the production of their frames, they manufacture them at home, at the Intense Cycles plant in California.

Hand-welded, with all love and precision, the frames can be appreciated not only by experts, but also by cycling enthusiasts.

Many bicycle companies manufacture their products in other regions, although they indicate the label "made in the USA", but Intense Cycles is not one of them.

Intense constantly monitors every step of production and can say with confidence that their products meet all the necessary quality standards.

According to the company, its history began in the small Californian town of Lake Elsinore in 1991.

It initial budget was very limited, but the desire to create masterpieces of technology and become winners in her industry was simply colossal.

Each frame produced for employees is commensurate with the birth of a child. It is with such trepidation and tenderness that they relate to products.

Welding is done with extreme care, so we can say that bicycle frames are made with soul.

In the eighties, Californian engineer Jeff Steber and his colleagues, employees of the firm for the production of sky-surfing equipment, became the proud owners of Specialized Stumpjumper mountain bikes.

At that time, Jeff was very passionate about playing the guitar, even making guitars, but the mountain biking passion was stronger.

As a talented and successful engineer, Steber tried his best to optimize the bike's rear suspension. These efforts culminated in Jeff's home in Lake Elsinore, Southern California, in 1990, with his own frame called the Spyder.

Intense Cycles has only 35 employees, but this does not prevent it from producing about 5,000 bicycles a year.
