History of Fuji Bicycles

Some FUJI Bicycle Manuals PDF above the page.

Fuji bicycles, originally from Japan, owes its name to the famous mountain as a symbol of strength and endurance.

The company was founded a long time ago, already in 1899 - and even then, from the beginning of the creation of the very first bicycle, the engineers of Fuji bikes made it their goal to produce products of the highest quality.

Victories were not long in coming - and victories not only in technology, but also in sports.

In the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, Fuji bikes was the market leader in Japan - and in addition, won many bicycle races.

In the fifties, Fuji bikes became an incredibly popular company in the Asian bike market, and actively promoted to markets in other countries: the victory in the first Asian Games of the young rider Shoichiro Sugihara on the Fuji bike probably contributed to this.

In 1964, at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the national cycling team of Japan was waiting for great success, the team repeated its success at the Olympics in Mexico City in 1968 and in Munich in 1972.

The name Fuji bikes has been inscribed in the history of big sport once and for all.

In the seventies, Fuji bikes became popular in the USA - it was a real recognition.

Fuji's victories continue in both technology and cycling.
