The history of the famous German bicycle brand Kalkhoff begins back in 1919, when a young rural postman Heinrich Kalkhoff, the future founder of the company, came across an advertising leaflet about the sale of bicycle tires at low prices.
Heinrich asked the locals if they needed such tires, and, having received many affirmative answers from the villagers, began trading.
Things went very well, and soon the company began not only to sell components for bicycles, but also gradually experiment with its own production.
The entire history of the company is a stunning example of success, almost a century long, thanks to both loyalty to the best traditions and movement in step with the times, strict quality control and care for the comfort and interests of customers.
